Even though this is the fourth warrior kilt I have made, this is the first kilt I have done where all the sewing was done by hand. Never again...my finger tips are still sore. :-D

My review of The Lost Boys:The Thirst

I have just finished watching Lost Boys: The Thirst...what can I say, the acting leaves a lot to be desired. But, I think that the SUPER cheesy factor of this movie and bad acting is what makes this movie SO GOOD!!! It is a definite cheesy movie night style movie. One can't help but laugh as the movie goes by.
The sound track was actually really good. The Cry Little Sister cover was amazing!! But, then again, who did this cover? Aiden of course. You can never go wrong with Aiden. :-D

I guess I liked it because I had no expectation at all and enjoyed the movie for what it was, a corny cheese fest of the best kind! :-D

My quick review 2010 A Nightmare on Elm Street

So, I am done seeing the 2010 version of A Nightmare On Elm Street. A movie I had been avoiding since it first came out...now I know why. It is a really bad movie. But then again, every single remake is just a butchered version of the original. With a few exceptions.
But, no one should ever mess with Freddy. There was a reason Jackie Earle Haley was overlooked when the original Freddy was cast...he is just not good.
The story line, while loosely keeping with the original, was a snooze fest. Part of the fun of the original was watching how Nancy grew strong and fought back. This Nancy just looks hungry and constipated ALL the time...a bit annoying.
I am so mad at myself for watching it!
There is a reason I didn't want to watch it when it first came out. I don't know why I did. Well, actually, now I know for sure that I don't like it. So, I guess I can't be mad at myself for confirming my feelings. :-D
